Hey FORDFONEFITTY,
I have a couple questions about your tire/rim setup, if you don't mind.
What kind of rims are those?
How far out do they stick from the fender?
Did you notice a loss in acceleration or brakeing?
I'm looking at doing 20s and 22s and having a hard time deciding to leave it stock height, lift (leveling kit), lower (rear shackles), truck or street tires.
Thanks,
Duke
You guys keep speaking of how fast the Titan is (I really want to test drive one, but the dealer is a ways away). I test drove another Dodge with the 5.7 hemi, and it just has better low end torque, when my truck gets higher in the RPMs it pulls real good, and it's completely stock. It was a single cab 05 Dodge Hemi, and I feel if I had my 04 Supercrew custom tuned, it would beat the 5.7. Is there something wrong with me? I really think my truck is on crack, it has not had a dealer reflash, or anything of the like. Is the titan quicker than the 5.7 Hemi? Lastly, about the comment on the Titan's console shifter, it looks much worse, how can you even compare:

**I'm not sure of how to post pics in the threads, but you can click on my gallery where you can find several pics of the truck.** I have the all white lariat SC with the beige interior though. When I was looking for my truck, I had already set my mind for the SC because of the longer bed, but now kind of wished I had gone with the SCREW. I guess it all depends on what you will be using your truck for. But good luck with either choice.

The rims are AFX distributed by Weld. 20x8.5 They don't really stick out at all, maybe 1/2 an inch. The tires are 305/55/20. No loss in power or braking. No rubbing with the leveling kit.

Youll have no problems towing your cobra with a F-150 5.4. I towed a tandem axle trailer with 6500 lbs of river rock with mine and the only time I really knew it was back there was during braking. Ive driven the titan and the Hemi. Ya, they feel pretty quick EMPTY. By no means is the titan 2 seconds faster like someone earlier said. The ford is a much better engine for pulling/towing than the others. I've read a couple independant shoot-out write-ups and everytime all the trucks are pulling a load the 5.4 is the strongest or the runner-up. All the hemis torque is like 4500 rpm or something, as where the 5.4 is below 2000k. Plus tell me how many hemis are getting the gas mileage a 5.4 is getting......

Mike is that you, the same guy I used to autocross with at devens... Remember me with the silver cobra that sounded mean. Hows everything going these days. It looks like you have some new vehicles since the last time I saw you. Your cobra is pretty sick. I would love to get back up there next year and race with you guys. Are you looking for a truck? Give me a shout, I am running a Ford Store in RI.

While were talking about Titans, my friend just had his lifted on 35s. Everyone thought it was going to look soo good when it was done. Funny thing is he pulled up and everyone told him how good it looked except a few people who don't lie. Next day, everyone I talked to or heard talking about it said how bad it looked.
