Door panels..

How easy is it to take off the door panels in an 04 Reg cab? I am going to be tinting my windows tomorrow. Also since I am too lazy to walk out to my truck... Is there instructions in the manual? If not are there any hidden screws that I should be looking for? Thanks

Matt

Getting it off is fairly simple, getting it back on can be a bit tricky. To get it off, remove the 6mm bolt at the bottom and start pulling it off. Start at the bottom and work half way up. Then reach in the hole at the top and and pull it off. The toughest part to pull out is towards the front of the door about eye level. There's some flat brass pieces with teeth that grip into plastic around the windows. Getting those back in place when reinstalling is the tricky part. You may need to use a screwdriver to pry them away when putting them back on.

Are you talking about front or rear panels? The front ones unbolt and lift off, the rear unbolts and you have to pull it off pretty hard?
