Decided On Lift Kit Components... What Do Ya Think

Hey everyone... long time reader, first time poster. I've been researching lift kits, wheels, and tires on here for about 2 months now, and I think I've decided on all of the pieces I want to purchase. I've listed the parts and the lowest prices I've found, tell me what ya think. Oh, I have a 05 Screw Lariat.

fabtech 6" lift kit $1618.99
Procomp MT 35X12.5X17 (Buy 3 get 1 Free) $273.99
Procomp 1079 17X9 $157.99
The grand total comes to $3071.93 + Tax

Also, will I have any clearance issues (besides the garage ) with the front tires?

I'm completly new to this and all your help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like a good setup. What is the backspacing on those wheels? Also I have a 7ft garage, and I can get the truck inside.

That sounds pretty good, The pro comp mud tires are a pretty rough ride, I had them on my 04 dodge 1500 with a 6" lift and I hated them. I would go with a Nitto Mud, they are loud but ride awesome. The wheels you picked are everywhere, 4 wheel parts uses them on all of there lifts. Good Luck with the truck!!!

The back spacing is 5" on the wheels. This worries me a little. Think I'll run into any problems. Thanks for all the replys so far. Making me feel better about droppin my three grand. Might try to set this all up tomorrow. I'll keep ya updated. Thanks again.

Just make sure that those 17's will fit. Apparantly Ford changed brake calipers during the 05 model year and SOME aftermarket 17's won't fit over them. Just test fit a wheel before you mount the tires.

The back spacing will work, I have the 1069 from ProComp and they work fine. Ihave put the truck thru all angles that I could and never had them rub and I tried my hardest to.

Well thanks for all the feedback guys. I ordered my kit today. Got everything that I listed above. I'm gonna give the Pro Comp M/T's a try and see how they go. Getting everything installed Nov. 15th. Should have it back on the 16th. I'll see if I can't get some pics up then. Thanks again guys.

The rims will fit. I have the 1069s on my truck and mine was built late in 05.
