4.6 hp after exhaust and AF1?
4.6 hp after exhaust and AF1?
Alright,
I have a bone stock performance wise 05 4.6 SuperCab. I just ordered the Magnaflow #16616 SI/DO from hottexhaust a few hours ago, and when I get my next paycheck at the end of this week, I'm ordering my AF1 from troyer. <-run-on?
Anyways, I was just wondering with both bolted on, whats a rough estimation of hp increase?
Sorry if this question has been asked many times before, its getting late and I don't really have the time to search

Waste of money, you should of asked before you got all giddy and ordered.
A simple weld in muffler will be adequate unless you were pushing some serious horsepower; and your not. So the mandrel bends are useless considering the system is still crush bent after the cats and you also have exhaust manifolds with the ugliest cats and their bends.
As far as an intake, most have had a tremendous success in removing the stock inner intake silencer. So all that other money can go to somewhere else.
Just because a business states X hp & X tq it isnt true, its more like divide that by two, or if you have SEEN results you can use that, but most is just "this produced..."

If he needs the stainless steel and wants SI/DO the catback will fullfill what he wants. However, instead of dropping the cash on the AF1 do the intake mods for the 4.6L and you'll get the additional performance you want without spending all that money. Thread on that right here:

Spend that money on an XCal2 from Troyer or some other programmer. Efans might also be a good idea.
