bypass mudule install Q

I am reading over the install instruction on a PKF3 module. Its says to connect the green and pink wire (both from the module) to the pats module. Does this mean to tie them together or what?

On keyless module installs you have to cut the factory wire and one wire from the bypass module goes to the switch side and the other goes to the ECM side.

I'm not sure that I am following you. Are you talking about for keyless entry install or for remote start install?
