Just to put some closure on this post . . . I drove the truck to work after my last post. When we came back (My wife & I work at the same place, and we alternate vehicles), the bird had $%^$^ all over HER right mirror! That did it, ya know? No more "Oh don't be so mean!"!!!

I went down to the local hardware store & got both glue boards & mousetraps. I put the mousetraps on the trucks mirrors, and the glue boards on mama's car. But it was dark by then, so I didn't expect anything.

We got up next morning & drove the car. When we got home from work, I could see from the street that the mousetrap on the right mirror was on the ground! We ran up to look, and there was a single feather stuck in the trap!!!

We haven't seen hide or hair of the freakin bird since!!!! ALLRIGHT!!!!

So. If you have a bird problem, and you are a lousy shot, forget the owls, forget trying to cover the mirror, and forget flipping the mirror. Go directly to the mousetrap & save yourself some time, and a whole lot of truck washing!!

LMAO! It's easy to take the 'moral high road' when it's affecting somebody else. But chit on mama's car and all Heck is gonna break loose!

Don't get rid of the leftover traps and glueboards just yet. Birds are highly instinctual and will return to the same spot year after year. If he forgets about the mousetrap, he could be right back on the same mirror next year.
