Maybe you should consider an 06 Titan.

That sucks you didn’t get a good truck. I got a 04, and had it since 10-24-03 without any major problems. Leaky third brake light is about the biggest thing that’s gone wrong. You best get something that makes you happy because you have to drive it. Good luck with whatever you choose

Go with your gut feeling...I have had the rear end redone, front disc's replaced, rear tail lights replaced.

If you need your truck for hauling or carrying payload often....go with Ford. If it is only a daily driver....go with what feels the most comfortable to drive. I obviously prefer the F150. I have logged over 36K miles in 15 months and have zero problems. My truck has been great and I love it! Good luck with your decision......

If you're leaning towards the Tundra, I'd seriously wait for 07. Redesigned, full size, better power, and a much better looking truck. I think the current one looks too dated, definitely a 90's design, and not a true full size. As far as the F150, I've had no major issues, except a drivetrain clunk, and yes it's a bit underpowered, but I suspect you had a bad one. There's one in every bunch. Unfortunately, if you trade, you gonna lose your ****. Good luck and keep us posted.

Keep your truck long enough to make sure you want to get rid of it. If the problems have been fixed, maybe you won't have anymore. But believe me I understand. I have traded in vehicles for the same reason as you, then later talk to the owner that has driven it for 50,000 miles with no problems. At least I was complimented on the tires and wheels, nice exhaust, intake, bug defector etc that I had installed. So think it over. I hate for someone to give up a nice truck and regret going over to the dark side for a truck that may have problems also. The grass is not always greener.

Good luck.

Shoe like Expy says all probs may be gone . Except the front but ford is trying on that . You go with the new designs in any manufacturer you can have problems. Hey i think the brakes and rack are no where heavy enough for this truck next couple years Ford will get it right. Should have kept my 03 and just moded it and waited for the 08 Shelby GT 500 yjats where this truck is going along with my 67 mustang coupe. Keeping my 68 Fastback though will be driving a ranger by then is there a forum for those .

Thanks for all the replies,The dealership is working with me to trade in for another one if i decide to go that route. They offer to give me 500.00 less then i paid for it after taxes and fees.which i figure if i trade it in i will lose about that much anyways.I thought about the tundra changes design and don t know if i should go that way or just keep what i got and hope everything is better with it when i get it back.I m driving a 05 f 150 now that is a loaner and it is so much better then my ride is.I love my truck its fully loaded as a xlt can be with the captain chairs if i can figure out how to put a picture of it on here i will.I should of kept my 02 f 150.but oh well. Thanks again for all your opinion keep them comming.

Sounds like a plan. What about buying the loaner you’re driving now. Maybe, since it’s slightly used they’ll trade even up
