Question Strange vib with Volant at 2500 rpm

I have not heard much on this and thought I would toss this out. I just installed the Volant for my 2005 Ford F150 with the 5.4L. I immediately noticed a difference, however around 2500 rpm's I get a strange vibration. It's almost like I can feel it on the gas pedal and steering wheel. Has anyone else noticed this, and what did they do to fix it. Thanks for any help.

I have seen one other mention of it. Volant advised to cap off the lower intake hole of the filter box if it is not used. They said this does not affect performance. Might be worth a try.

I'm not sure. I checked everything at it's all tightened down. Maybe there is something I overlooked.

Check and see if the box is slightly touching the brake fluid reservoir. Mine was just a tad bit so I put a couple pieces of weathering stripping on the box where it touches and all is well.

I love my (1st generation) Volant CAI, but I hate the fact that I had to do modifications to it (drill another mounting hole, weather stripping under the box, capped off the bottom hole and the weather stripping on box for Brake reservoir).

By the way...no CELs at all (knock on wood).
