Automatic headlights to sensative!!

They are aggravating me clicking on and off at dusk and early morning. Have had several fords with this option before but not this problem. Is the sensor between steering wheel and windshield or is that just the red blinking light? Please tell me where it is so I can do some coloring on it!!

Yes, that is the sensor with the blinking red light. I stopped using mine because it's setting was too far off, and when not using auto the lights seem brighter *shrug*

Mine are sensitive, I've noticed early in the morning they click off and on when I drive through shady spots. A little annoying, but I don't really don't know what to do about it.

I keep a small hand towel in the truck.

When I want the lights to stay on, I throw the towel over the sensor.

You could always put a piece of 35% tint over it...then it would come on much sooner.

You just brought something to my attention I was wanting to put something over it to make it less sensative and come on later but covering it will make it come on sooner instead, I don't want that...DAMN!

Take it off auto, turn them on yourself. That solved all my problems...hehe.

Speaking of that blinking red light, when i started my truck last week to go to work, mine remained lit all the way to work. After that it went back to blinking when the truck is turned off. Anyone elses do that?
