Battery Drain

The past two days my truck has left me stranded three times. I thought it might have been the battery. It is two years old now, so I replaced it with an Optima Red Top, I have heard nothing but good things about these. so this morning, when I go to start my truck it can barely turn over. I first attributed it to the cold weather, but it should do it with a new battery and it is only in the 50s.
My question is, what could cause a drain on the battery? All the lights are off, no chargers, radio is off. Where can this drain come from?
I guess it is going to the dealer later today....fun times...

I would do a little test. Disconnect the battery overnight. Hook it back up in the morning and see if the truck starts. If it does, the battery and starting system are okay. Which means there is something on the truck draining the battery. Something is either on or shorting to cause a drain. If it doesn't start after being unhooked all night then there is something else going on, ie. starter, etc. OR, maybe there is a TSB on this?

Good suggestion Rich, I would try that. If it sucked that Optima dry over night, it must be a pretty good drain!

Well I took the truck to the dealer and they kept it over night, and it started every time for them. Well, it has died on me again the last two days.
I guess i will be spending my afternoon, with a multimeter, and pulling fuses.
I cant wait.
