Ordered one from fordpartsdotcom three weeks ago, and they are saying they are on backorder until early November, but my dealer says he can get one in three days?? Anyone order this from fordpartsdotcom and get it yet?

 

I ordered mine 3 weeks ago and said it ship out in november. Should have just got it from dealer.

 

Will they not cancel the order if it hasn't shipped yet? Can't say I'm impressed with the service from them...

Go find a nice, friendly Ford dealer that has '06 Harley on the lot. Express your interest in the truck, ask if you can drive it home that evening, then return it.

"Man, I dunno what happened, I got up this morning to bring it back to y'all and the grill got jacked..."

I'll check with some parts goons tomorrow and see whether it's really on backorder or not.

 

It's not on backorder at dealership but supposedly at that site it is. I talked to the guy (Ken) at fordparts and he said you can cancel order if you would like. Im not in any big hurry. Ive waited 3 weeks another 2/3 cant hurt that bad.

 

Yeah, be ready when you cancel that part order. It's not the easiest thing to do but it can be done.

Fordparts.com, best I can understand, is STILL a third-party supplier even though they are run by a dealership in the Tacoma Washington area. (Titus-Will Ford Sales, Inc.). Their supply is limited to what Ford will give 'em.

 

There was another member on here that canceled his order. Ken (the guy) remembered him when i mentioned a guy from f150online. I think Cwelk was his name. Ken (the guy) was really nice about the sh#t i gave him. Absence makes the heart fonder so i ought the be ready to hump the sh## out of this grill when it arrives.

 

I ordered mine on tues. and I should have it thurs. The lady at the ford shop said it was in stock and I got it for a hundred bucks!!! I'm psyched!!
