I have emailed this guy 4 or 5 times asking for the Ford part number if they are true Ford parts, and I get no response. Of course when I asked how much both the right and left together would be, I got a response in less than 2 hours that said $80. I think I'll have to pass..... get what ya pay for?

Careful - when i bought mine from a dealer several weeks ago, we went through 2 passenger side ones, both damaged, then Ford put them on back order till they could correct them. the third one was fine. He may have gotten the ones that were damaged.

ok heres an update. I got my headlights I got off ebay today. they are ford headlights but they are without the bulbs I hope my current bulbs will fit. also I the part numbers on the back didn't quite match up with the 2006 harley headlights I have seen on here. the numbers are:
5L34-13005-A for the right and
5L34-13006-A for the left.

there were also numbers on the backs that started with 6L34. the main part number had been changed from an 6L34 to a 5L34. dose any one know what this means. I know there is some factory dealers on here that can look up those numbers to let me know what it is. I suspect they might be factory seconds. also I suspect they might be 2005 harley headlights. I am not sure the differance between the 2005 and the 2006 harley headlights.

6L3Z-13008-BAA and 6L3Z-13008-AAA are the ford part numbers for the 2006 Harley Davidson headlights. There was no 2005 Harley, just the recently introduced 2006 so no issue there. Your bulbs should fit fine. Do the headlamp housings look hacked up or does the moisture seal look factory done? Seal should be black in color. Make sure they are sealed up nice. I suspect you should be ok if the price was right. Snap some pics if you can.

I looked them over pretty good and it dose seem to have the factory seal. but I dod find some minor defects on them to make me believe they are factory seconds. one light has some minor nicks on one side along the edge. the other has some water marks on the inside of the cover and on the reflector. these are monor defects that can only be seen from up close. I think they are ok considering the good price I got for them. I will never notice either of the defects as I don't keep my truck spotless and perfect anyways. the only thing that concerns me is if one might leak but only time will tell on this. oh well they are harley headlights and came at a great price so I am happy. I will be putting them in this weekend if it ever stops raining. but I won't snap any pics till I get my new grill in.

well I went out and installed them today and desided I didn't like the water marks and smears inside the lense. it showed up alot more outside under daylight conditions. there were smears I didn't see before inside the house that just stood out especially when the headlights were on. so I desided I didn't like it and pulled them off and installed the stock headlights again. so now I have three options. #1 try to return them for a refund which I doubt he will accept. or #2 try to sell them cheap and recoup some of my loses or #3 try to open them up and clean them out.
I think I read on here that the factory seal could be heated up and seperated and resealed again after. is this possible and can you get a good seal after you reseal it. just weighing my options.
This just goes to show you be carefull what you buy off ebay. ask lots of questions. oh well one lesson learned the hard way.

either way I am going to get me another set or fix these ones because I really liked the way these headlights looked on my truck even though I only had them on there for less than 15 minutes. it is amazeing how easy these headlights are to change in and out.

Jason, can you take a pic of them? I'd like to see them. If they are smears on the inside then either they were sloppily put together at the factory or someone had opened them up post-production. Forget trying to open them up, near impossible as I tried with mine to paint them myself.

ok I took a several pics but couldn't get any that showed the water marks real well. too many light reflections off the lense and off the black background. but here is two who show it a little. tou can see two dime size circles between the large reflector and the small reflector and some streeks just above and to the right or that just above the small reflector. I am not sure the are streeks they look like they could be water marks from a small dried up puddle.

it shows up best I think in the second pic. but the pics don't really show it.

ok I came up with the idea of attempting to clean them with a rag taped on the end of a stick and some alcohol. I will attempt this tomorrow. maybe I will be able to salvage these lights after all. tomorrow will tell.

I'll refund you if they are still okay after you attempt to clean them. I'll pay 100 bucks for them. Let us know how the cleaning goes

well I got a hanger taped a rag on the end. and some denatured alcohol and went to work cleaned them out good. it came out alot better than I thought it would. got 80 to 90 percent of the water marks out. all I could get to. they came off easy. so I went and intalled them, took 20 minuts. I am happy again. they still have a spot or two on the inside and a little lint but it came out real good. I think now they are definitely worth the 100 bucks I paid.
