Retractable Bed Cover for Supercrew

I will be getting a 2006 Supercrew this week and am looking at getting a retractable bed cover for it. I was looking at the Retrax unit. What should I expect to pay for this cover? Did anyone find any good deals on the internet or elsewhere or have suggestions for a different bed cover? This will be the first one I have ever purchased before. I appreciate the help very much. Thanks.

i have the truxedo lopro bed cover. i wanted a retractable one too.. the reason why i went with this one is that when its rolled up, it doesnt eat up bed space. plus there is no maintenence.

I had an extang bed cover, which I hated. I took it off and ordered what I really wanted. I got the retrax cover, $870, and I couldn't be happier. I have only had it on for less than a week but it looks so much better than the extang I have. So far I beleive its a great investment and I love the fact that I can stop the cover at anywhere I want. Good luck.

I agree with RGSMDNR....I went with the LoPro as well....I originally wanted the retrax....but I did not want to loose that additional space and they are known to buckle over time....this problem has been discussed recently....do a quick search for the retrax in the 2004-2006 forum and you will be able to seem so shots of the buckling....

Loosing the bed space was fine with me.

As far as the buckling is concerned, you will notice that in my pics. However, I will never own anything other than the RETRAX. I sent those pics to RETRAX and they replaced my cover free of charge with no questions asked.

As far as them buckling over time, I'm not sure of that. My cover had those buckles in it since day one. Anyway, they took care of it!!!
