Roush is on and I just got back from the dragstrip............WOW!

Ok guys I just finished it up last night, did the complete install myself in 3 days working on it when I got home from work till about 11 the first night, 12:45 the 2nd night and did a few more things till about ~9 the 3rd. Then the computer arived from Roush the next morning at 9:30 so when I got home from work I slapped it in. Holy crap is it awesome! This thing really hauls major *** for such a big truck! I went up to the strip this afternoon and made a few runs. These are all 1/8 mile times.........First run was a 9.6 with no spining (heated em up real good) 2nd run was a 9.7 with a little spin because I didn't heat em up at all, and 3rd with some spin was a 9.8 due to the thing getting pretty hot......so I let her cool down for a bit and came back and raced a Stang GT, I heated em up realllly good and busted out a 9.569-best time of the evening! This converted to 1/4 mile time is a 15.02 which I think is damn good. Posted time for the true Roush F-150 is 14.9 and it is 2WD. My mods other than the S/C are a Magnaflow SISO exhaust and a set of E-fans. This is on stock Roush tune also. The exhaust sounds unreal now.....it is absolutely rediculous how powerful it sounds at WOT, not to mention the blower whine. I have provided pics and times only thing I'm missing is some videos, and I am still trying to figure out my moms vid camera, as it screws up the sound for some reason when you do it in 'digital' mode so I can put it on the PC.

Thanks! No, no injectors, I guess they figure the stock ones flow enough for the stock Roush tune, but if I were to need to change them, it is fairly easy to remove the rail. The E-fans saved me a lot of time and grief in the install........there is a LOT of cutting and trimming of the original fan shroud (that I don't have) that you would have otherwise had to do.

I found an online 1/8-1/4 mile calculator and put in my numbers, it must be pretty accurate if you ran a 9.7 1/8 and 15.22 1/4, to my 9.569 1/8 and 15.02 estimated 1/4.......the ratio seems to be about the same.

So you think it would run 15.0's?

"300hp" 5.4 + 6psi roots blower + 05 Scab 4x4= 15.xs 1/4

Man these trucks really are heavy as hell.

Hell my 93 L with flowmaster muffler,K&N, underdrives, and 12* timing would run 15.0s

Yeah, a lightning weighs around 1,000 lbs less than a SCab or a SCrew.......but every little bit counts
