Let me run this quote by you....

My rig is a 2004 XLT 4x4 Supercrew.

Just called our local 4wheelparts in Portland OR to get a quote on this setup:

ProComp 6001 series Wheels, 17x8
ProComp 33x12.5x17 Mud Terrains
2.5" Daystar, install and alignment
Gorilla locking lugs, mount and balance
ProComp's tire replacement warranty

$1,975.

Decent?

Man I'm so close to forever getting those freakin' General tires off my truck that I'm shaking with excitement.

sounds like a decent deal to me. You could probably save some by buying all the parts online and then just having them mount/balance/install/align.

Sounds decent. What are the tires and wheels worth by themselves? My 2.5" Daystar was $120.00, and I paid $150 for installation with alignment included.

That will be a nice setup.

PS, Portland is a nice town. Ever heard of a band called Second Nature from there?

Is Richardson Brothers still doing business in West Linn/Oregon City? They used to have the best prices around but that was 20+ years ago...

That sounds like a fair deal to me.
If you don’t do much off-roading you might think about passing on the extra tire warranty. Generally it's for catastrophic failures that rarely occur on street/gravel roads. However if you off-road then it can be a good choice. In the past I've had 2 tires shredded on rocks and had the Goodyear Wrangler MT/R's replaced for free both times. In that case an extra $120 in warranty saved me $500 in replacement costs.
Good luck….
