Climate Controls

Ok, here's one for you. Provided that you replaced the center trim piece, can you install the Auto Climate Control from a Lariat into an FX4? Plug and plag with the brackets behind the dash?

I believe the Climate Control is integrated to the computer display that only comes with the Lariat option....

What IC in the fx4? I wouldn't consider a compass an IC.

It tells you when your door is ajar, that's some good info!

I had a SHO Taurus and a Continental with the EATC. The wiring and components were completely different than the same vehicles with manual controls.

The EATC is cool when its new and it works. Down the road when they go bad its $$$$$$$$$ to fix them. Trust me the manual controls are the way to go.
