just one more question about a reflash.

OK I know that there are about 50 reflash ??'s on here now, BUT,

Where do they put the underhood sticker after a reflash?? I can find one after my "supposed" reflash.

Here's the deal: I took it in Mon. for a reflash, no one at my dealer acted like they new anything about a reflash, so I just kept complaining about throttle lag, and he wrote up on a paper- hesitation on acceleration. picked it up (with no paperwork I might add) and seemed to be a little better, but still far from what I think it should be. So I get it home, no sticker to be found.

I would take it to another dealer, But the next closest one is 30 min away and service there is usally VERY SLOW.

What to do? I may end up taking it somewhere else

Cool

I know this doesn't answer your question, but I took mine in a week ago for hesitation. They kept it two days. They were able to recreate the problem the first day, but on the second day they didn't notice the problem and all the computer checks were normal.

During their checks they drove it around for a good 25 miles. All city driving since that's what I mostly do.

They didn't do a reflash, but when I got it back I could swear it drove better. Could be that the adaptiveness took over and adjusted to their driving. Since then I've been pushing it a little more. Before I was pampering it to the extent of embarassment.

05 Scab. 4.6L. 3.55 axle. Purchased June 26, 05.

sounds like my situation. I pampered it mostly, but They couldn't have gone far in mine, I dropped it off with the low fuel indicator on!

I complained about throttle lag when I first took my truck to the dealer but they said everything looked good on the computer and when I got it back it felt a lot different. MAybe just hooking it up to the computer did something to it. I'm gonna push for a reflash after I graduate and go back to where I bought it in December.

Yea, its better, but still not what it sounds like many of you are talking about.

Did get a paper in the mail from the dealer, bunch of jibba-jabba looked like to me, and still I see no sticker under the hood

I had my truck re-flashed twice the first time didn't do anything but the second time my dealer put in a new throttle position sensor and re-flashed it and it was like night and day. Way better. If they will get them to do this for you.

when I take it to another dealer ( or back to mine), Im going to tell them I have the 3-2 shift clunk, even though I don't. This should get what I want shouldn't it???
