Cheap flares. Think they're any good.

I found these in my JCWhitney catalog. I want some flares for my truck but I think the factory FX4's are to low profile and theres no way in hell I'm payin $350 for 4 peices of plastic (Bushwhackers). I realize they may be junk and then again they may work just fine. I'm tempted to order a set and see what happens. I can always send them back if i aint happy and for the price why not. Whats everybody think?

I will admit 350 is a bit much for flares. watch ebay you can sometimes find deals on there. I got mine for $225 plus shipping. I think he had it mis priced but it was a good deal. the cheap ones might work fine but they might not look as good. the way I look at it this is a nice new truck I dont want to put anything that looks cheap on it. just my 2 cents.

They are junk, i had them on a dodge, they keep the mud off, but they look crappy IMO. I would save for bushwackers.

They are rubber and flimsy, they have a wire stiffener in them, but over time the wire starts to work its way out of the rubber.
I didnt like them much, but they did do a good job of keeping mud off.
Functionally they are fine, but as far as appearance, they are junky.
That is just my $.02
I know anouther guy that loved them. I guess you cant go wrong, they are cheap, and if you dont like them, return them.

I bought mine on E Bay for $99 and haven't had a problem. Look just like factory after I painted them. I wasn't about to pay what the dealer wanted or what other vendors wanted! You do have to screw them to the underside of the wheel well but the sides uses 3M tape!
