I am about to install a PAC swi-x in my 04 Screw. The wiring end of things looks fairly easy, my question is, where is a good spot to install the IR emitter? I am running a Kenwood Excelon 869 with the fold down face and am thinking about putting the emitter in the overhead console, but is there a better place?

 

I just put mine in today. I mounted the ir just above my Kenwood in the upper edge of the adapter plate.

Im not really impressed with the function of the swix. I dont like the delay.

If I wouldnt have cut off the extra wires I would have returned it.

 

I don't get it either, mine doesn't work all the time?
