Hey all, I noticed a few months ago a few tiny chips of paint missing on the hood where the grille surround meets up with it on the drivers side, didnt bother me much as you really had to look for them. In the past week another larger chip is now missing and if you look hard you can see where the grille surround is rubbing the paint off the edge of the hood. Anyone else have this problem? I have not noticed any posts on the subject. Not sure what I can do to stop this before it gets worse... the last thing I want is a repainted hood. All of this with my HD grille on the way

 

I've got one about the diameter of a cigarette on the driver's side just like you said. Mine's more on the vertical edge of the hood. It's out of sight and I keep forgetting about it. Should prob get some touch up paint and at least cover it up. I also have a very tiny one on the roof.
