ALLRIGHT, PROBLEM FIXED!!!
I grabbed a pair of visegrip pliers and a hammer and went at the seam this mourning. The seam bent right over with the pliers and flattened out smooth with the hammer. Now I have an inch between the shackle and the bottom of the bed. So I'm back in buissnes!

Glad you got it fixed man. Scared me for a sec. cause I thought I was gonna have the same problem. I guess I'll try the 2-3" shakles and if the 3" is too low then I can always bump it up to the 2" hole. And if you have a chance, do you think you could take a pic of this seam that you had to take care of. I havent heard anyone else havng problems with it so I would just like to be sure I don't screw up my truck. Thanks

Yeah, next time I have my camera with me I'll snap some shots of the seam. After doing a search I found some guys grinded their seams down, I wasnt that concerened about looks(its un seeable anyways!) so I just beat the hell out of it.

I just installed mine last night and mine cleared no problem. I was hoping I was going to get to use my new plasma cutter to make a notch, but it insnt necessary on mine. Also, on my Screw, I didnt have any vibe and didnt use the shims.

Didn't need to bend the seam over on mine either when we put the Ground Force 2" Shackles on. Looks a lot better with them. Wish the truck came stock like it.

I think you can just remove the blocks and lower it 2 inches.

What are the blocks for?

I'm just thinking about putting on 22's in the spring when the weather clears up, and I think the 22's would look better if I got rid of the 1.5 inch rake I have. I am NOT going to lower the truck or the front end. Just looking to level it out, without lifting the front end and creating more space between the tire and the wheel well. Kind of going for a cadillac truck look.

There is a 2 inch block under the leaf springs to make the 4x4's higher. FX4&EXCURSION removed his to make his truck level. Some of the 2wd guys will get the ones that someone has removed and make their trucks sit up higher. I think HWM3 did this asl.

So I'd have to order 2wd rear blocks...I wonder how much those would cost. More than doing rear shackles? I'd hold onto my 4X4 blocks because a couple years from now I'm going to turn it into my fun vehicle, thus I'll lift it back up when it's not a daily driver and primary transportation.

OK, is there a place where you can just order the shims? Most of the kits I'm seeing do not come with the shim kit and I need to know where to find them if I get the vibration after the install. Thanks guys
