FX4 Flow-through console & floor shifter

I am a little confused - does the FX4 Supercrew have a flow-through console with the captain's chairs? The Ford site says that it is N/A on an FX4, yet the 2006 order guide pdf I have shows it as available on the FX4.

Here is the link to the Ford page: http://www.fordvehicles.com/trucks/f150/features/

I just wanted to see if anyone with an '04, '05, or even '06 can answer that question for me. The flow-through console was one of the main reasons for getting the captains chairs... (ordered an '06)

Any info would be GREATLY appreciated!

I'm sorry.. I'm "special"- I just read under "Seating" that the sport trimmed leather captains chairs have a flow-through console and floor shifter.. and they are optional on the FX4 (which is what I ordered).

Next time I'll actually read the other stuff as well (skipped over it the first time).

I actually havnt seen any 06 FX4's yet WITHOUT the flow through counsel.....they all have one.......if you ask me i think it should be a standard option.....thats one of the biggest reasons to get an FX4 i think.

Does anyone know where to find a used one? I did not get this option on the truck, but since I am adding Leather and I want to take the center 20 out. Any suggestions? I check ebay every other day, but no luck there...

Floor shifter and flow through console

I love my flow through console on my 04 FX4. The FX4 interior is why I bought a 4x4 vs the Lariat.

I found the core on ebay and had to order the other parts.

Regardless of what you need, you'll find everything here:
http://www.parts.com/partlocator/ind...=1&catalogid=2

Also, you'll need to order the actual shifter assembly. The part number is "4L3Z7210CD." I paid out the @ss for one, but at least I know it'll work.

How much did you pay for the shifter? fordparts.com has it for 188.66 plus 18.87 ground shipping. Did you receive it yet? Was it complete? I'm afraid I'm gonna have to buy a new one, since the ebay one I bought arrived today with a broken shift release pin.

Actually, I just cancelled my order becuase I was an idiot and included my VIN#. They emailed me to notify me of a change in the order. They switched everything to the parts that fit my crappy column shifter.

I'm going to re-order it, but not give them my VIN. Their price was $193 and the shipping was not given (I guess they wait to fill the order to see what the cost will be in case you order various parts that fit into one box).

I think you'll be fine with either supplier. "Six in one, half dozen in the other"
