In-channel vent visor help

Will i installed my AVS inchannel vent visors last night with no problem. Got a question though..when i put my windows up they start going slow because the visors are sorta blocking the window from going up..they still go up the whole way. just wondering if this is a problem. thanks

did you pull out the weather stripping like they said? I installed some over the weekend on mine, followed the instructions on the rear window (first one) Like to never got the stripping back in place and the window binded up finally got it working right then just stuck the other 3 in place ( wasn't messing with that damn gasket no more )after 2 days I decided I didn't like the look and snatched them off, they stuck good because 2 of them broke pulling them off

my others never bound up they would make a little noise when they first hit the visor but then they went up no problem and seemed to get better the more I rolled up and down

I just put my AVS in-channels in last week, and yes, my windows do rub a little, and it is a little harder to roll them up when they get to the top, but I believe that is how it should be. They are tight for a reason -- security and stability. These suckers will not come off under normal conditions.

So far so good here -- I love 'em!

Ive had mine is since christmas.

At first, they were just like you guys were saying.. Power window slow down alot in the last 1/4". After a couple months, they are back to normal. The window kinda settles into its new place.. still tight, but not like it was.

Give it some time, the windows will eventually go up smoother. Took mine a couple weeks and were real tight for awhile, now they go up and down with no problem.

My front windows were excessively tight at the very top for a few weeks but now they go up without any problem. The rear windows never were too tight, worked perfect right off the bat.

I had in-channel visors on my 99 Ranger and I never had a problem with them. Very happy!
I'm thinking about getting them on my F150 now too.

I put my in-channnels in a couple months ago. Never noticed the windows having a problem when going up. I did noticed an increase in wind noise as soon as I put them on. That did go away after they sat in the window for a few days. I imagine the window weather striping had to form around the little clips that you have to push in. As far as an earlier post about taking the weatherstriping out, I never had to do that, and my instructions never said anything about it either. 1*

You guys are crazy. I noticed a huge difference in the way the window rolls up after having them once the window gets up to the top. Maybe it's because I had my truck with them, and my dad's without them and drove them both every day for a while. I since have removed them on my truck and like how the windows roll up much better. Plus, after a few months, most of the tabs had fallen into the door assembly itself and started squeeking everytime I rolled them up...I removed them biches, now, the window goes up so much better and with such smoother force you can feel it's better. Just my experience...however I loved them when I had them.

Where did you guys buy the in channel visors at? I looked at all the local auto parts stores and haven't been able to find them.

AVS In-Channel Ventvisor (part# 194443) _ Advance Auto Parts $48.80 and by the way I didn’t use the clips that came with them, I just let the 3M tape do its thing. I found an installation PDF online that said don’t use the clips

ordered them on a Monday had them Wednesday / no S&H charge just sales tax
