wasn't there talk of a E85 Flex fuel engine for MY 06? Could be for that?

Just because Motorcraft.com lists a certain calibration doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be available. I don't see the point of the 4V in an F150 anywho, it's heavier, gets worse fuel mileage, and makes it peak torque at a higher RPM than the 3V does. It also requires premium fuel, at least it did in a Navigator or Blackwood.

Cool

I think that a 4V would help the F150 compete with other models out there. I think that if they could tune the engine to make at least 340 HP, There would be a use for it.

The 3V makes its power down low where as the 4V makes it up top, correct?

Sorta. The 3V makes it's peak torque about 1000 rpm lower than the 4V did, and depending on what year 4V you're comparing, the 3V makes up to 30 ft/lbs more torque than the 4V did.
