5000k HID's installed on my F150

Im very happy with the way the system turned out on my truck. Light output is very very nice and bright, atleast 3x better than stock. Lights look blue in pix's, but in person they look white with a very slight hint of lavende no blue at all. I have not had one person flash there highbeams at me. I got the kit at Ebay and it's the 5k by McCulloch.

Are you happy with the 5000k, or would you have preferred the 6000k kit?

I was thinking of getting the 6K kit but from the photos I had seen it had a hint of blue which I did not want. So I went with the 5K which is white with a very slight hint of lavender. For some reason blue just makes it look fake. With the 5K it makes it seem more oem like, like if the truck came that way. So yes im very happy I went with the 5k kit.

Would you say the 5k looks like the navigators headlights?

I would say they look more like them than the 6K's do. If I had to say what they most look like, it would be like the HID's some Escalade's have.
Kinda hard to say tho

Do you have them in your stock headlights? I was thinking of installing a HID kit, but I wasn't sure how the beam pattern would turn out.

Nice...no matter what people say about beam pattern...when I installed mine, all I know is that the light output was excellent and was improved.

Yes, its plug and play. These lights draw less power than stock bulbs. I think they draw 35watts.

These are installed on the new Harley lightlamps which is the same as anyother F150's headlights. You can see the beam pattern on the pic of the wall.

It will look like you have HID's, because these are real HID's.
