I want bigger tires without the lift...

Hi all... I just new tires for my 04 Screw...They had 255x70x17's on them and went up to 275's...wanted to go to 295's...but the tire place said that it wouldn't fit...

I don't have the $$ yet to get aftermarket wheels and lift..but really want to fill it out and give it a little more aggressive look..any thoughts? I dropped about 6K into the audio system and rear view cam set up..

Thanks

I've got 285's on mine with 17 inch wheels. They look aggressive to me...

well the 295's will fit. I know my 285's fit no problem before I put in the leveling kit. oh and I think the main problem you got is you spent too much on the stereo system. just think you could have spent half that much and got all new rims tires and even a lift and still had a nice stereo system. just my 2 cents.

BFG 285's. I ordered the 17 rims and had the tires mounted on the route to deliver my truck to my work. the dealer thought i was crazy not taking the 18's for no upcharge... I got exactly what i wanted. the rims looked a lot like my stick rims on my 2001 i had previous.

I'm with raudel here. I was wondering if those would fit under an '05 4x4? No lift or leveling kit installed. Looking to upgrade to an 18x8.5 rim though.
