Question ATTN: HIDPlanet, question on HID kits

Im seeing the kits you have for sale and wanted to ask you whats the difference between the kits you have.

The difference is in the projectors.
The Bosch projectors produce a more evenly spread, wide beam pattern whereas the Valeo produces a more intense narrower beam.
their small size makes them a great choice for smaller headlights but are rather small for larger headlamps. TO overcome this, a custom cosmetic bezel can be fabricated to give the illusion of a larger object inside the assembly.

A Bi-Xenon package would be a better choice so you do not lose a high beam pattern.

How difficult is it to install them suckers, can someone who has common sense and is good with their hands figure it out or would it be better to have it professionally installed. How long does the install take for the average person and how much to get them installed by a pro?

I would probably recommend using a Bi-Xenon SYstem which has a high and low beam pattern. The projectors are the ones out of the 7-Series BMW so you all have seen them in action, very nice.

As for installation, it requires you to open up the headlight, install the projectors precisely so the patterns are matched and thenb sealing it up and wiring it all up.
Its not too hard but not too easy either. Alot of people pay someone to install the projectors into the headlights, but try to tackle wiring themselves. The forums there have members who provide services like this. But if you are good with your hands and use your head, its can be done fairly easily yourself...just read thru the many articles written on teh subject there.

All the hardware I have is OEM parts.
I do not carry or recommend cheap asian made rebased kits to fit into halogen sockets.
Whether you buy from me or elsewhere, I recommend you get OEM parts which will last a lifetime and perform well.

I know you have OEM. Thats why Im asking you. If your valeo or bosch kits fits an 05 F-150, I will buy them from you. I do not feel like spending a grand on ebay for oem bi-xenon headlamps

Physically they will fit. Any single or bi-xenon proejctor will fit. The tricky part is mounting them securely and straight. A Bi-Xenon projector is larger and would look a bit better because having small lenses in such a large assembly might look kind of bug eyed.
There was another member here who did a bi-xenon retrofit...search for his thread to get an idea of how it will turn out.
