I put mine on the other night...I have a 05 FX4 black scab and previously added the black headlights....so now it looks just like the HD edition from the front...so no need for a pic... Very, very happy with the look. $113.53 plus $11.35 shipping from www.fordparts.com (Titus-Will Ford - Tacoma, WA). And as was stated above...just be gentle with those bloody damn clips that hold your old surround on.

Hey Pohlcat, unpainted surround...couldnt you just replace it with your trucks; simply switch them out!!!

Yes..that's what you do. I'm just letting you know about the unpainted surround. When the grill became availble a few weeks ago, most people thought the grill surround would come painted black (only color available for the HD edition)...I know I was suprised when I opened the box and saw it was just primed...and hence the statement about being careful with the plastic clips when taking your old one off.

Put mine in today, If you want to use your old grille shell, it is a PITA to seperate the old inner grille. It took me and a 30 year veteran body man about 30 minutes to seperate them without destroying either one. They really aren't made to be seperated once put together, the key to it is taking your time. We started on one corner, and worked our way around, the best way is as you work your way around, take a few screwdrivers and insert them between the shell and the grille to keep them from snapping back together. I elected to use my chrome sheel and it looks great! BTW, if anyone wants a Mark LT grille I will cut you a good deal one on

cwelk150 and H345,

If you guys had your email contact option turned on it would help people get in touch with you! Since you guys have your email turned off, would you email me so I can discuss grills with you? Thanks.
