It appears that my 05 Scab is stuck in 4H. I put in there to make sure I didn't rip up the wet grass at my parents house and now, about 20 miles after I switched it to 2H, there is still power going to the front wheels.

The 4H indicator on the dash is off and I've tried flipping the 4WD switch back and forth a few times but it isn't budging. I think I'll wait until I'm in the dealership parking lot to try 4L, neutral, and back to see if that does the trick.

Anyone had this happen? Any ideas?

It does need a new driver's side badge....maybe a reflash....

 

Mine went into 4HI by its self one day, not sure why. I just switched it to 4HI and then back to 2wd, and the light went out, and has been good ever since.

 

I'd get that to the dealership right away. You will tear up your 4x4 if you drive it around on the dry pavement in 4x4.

 

Just back up a few feet then put it back in drive it should go back in 2wd.

 

I had a problem getting mine out of 4lo. After driving around a dirt parking lot for 5 minutes it went away. I tried Nuetral, Park, forward, reverse, turning the wheels and it just stayed in 4lo. Finally it went away and have not had the problem since.
