Does anyone have black oem leather seat covers for a 04 supercab f150 for sale? Really would like to get ahold of some pretty bad. Bought some on ebay but thier for a supercrew (rear seat only).

Did you buy the whole set? Or just the rears.


The front seats covers can be easily modded to go on a Scab or regular cab. I did it, others have as well.
The rear seat cover needs some custom tailoring to go from Screw to Scab, but the prices quoted here are 48 bucks and 75 bucks. Worth it I would think.

So if you have the whole set, just put the fronts on yourself, lots of posts giving blow by blow directions, and have the rears modified. Well worth it I would think.

Of course the center 20 is the pain, if you have it. I paid 125 to have it done on mine to match the other seats, but 85-150 is the spread on estimates.
This all assumes I read your post right.

Chris...Where did you get the extra material to cover the front middle 20? Did your upholsterer have it or did you have some left over from somewhere? I was thinking that I might have to find someone with the rear covers left over and use some of that material. Thanks Mike

 

Starfire, I intended to do the center with the leftover rear, but every shop I went into wanted to just order the Ford leather like cloth.
It's heavier than the stuff you can get for 7 bucks a yard (that's 58 inches by 36) at any fabric shop.

They tend to charge about 20-25 a yard for it at the upholstry places.
It's the stuff Ford uses on the parts of the seat that are not leather, like the sides, back and rear seat on non Lariats.

I hate to toss the left over rear seat, as it is a very expensive item from ford, and it just looks so good. Someone will someday want it, I think.

Chris...Thanks for the reply. I really like the pictures I have been seeing of the black covers installed in the grey interiors. My only concern has been the mods required on the rear seats, which really don't look too difficult, but mostly how to handle the front center 20% seat/console. Did you guys say that you thought the best way to go was with a Lariat middle? Can you get a Lariat middle in black leather? Mike

 

Simply put, if you have the center seat, somtimes the covers can be had with them. If you have the console XLT or Flow through, and want to change the color on it, the cheap way is this guys auctions;

Unlike the black leather dudes, this guy seems to get tan and cloth.
I don't think the pictures he's posting are of the actual product. I would ask if I was looking for stuff from him.

Lots of these guys take one picture and use it over and over. The console guy does that.
