Pocket PC mount?

Anyone know of a good car mount for a Dell Axim X50V? I've been looking at the Arkon DM300 because it is powered and has an integrated amplified speaker. Any suggestions?

I have a treo650 and use a pro-clip mount and a pro-clip holder.
These are just holders, not powered, but they are specifically made for your
exact make and model vehicle and exact make and model PDA. They are a little pricey for just a plastic mount, but the engineering and workmanship is top notch. They fit perfect and are very, very sturdy and solid.

I have the mount that goes right between the airvent and the radio, on the left side of the radio. It is perfect and in perfect view for navigation (I use tom tom) or taking/receiving calls.

They make about 3 or 4 specific mounts for our trucks. One goes by airvent, between the door and your steering wheel, one where i have it, one to the right of the radio, and one under the radio.

I like the idea of a powered mount because I will be using my Axim X50V for GPS navigation. I've heard that the Compact Flash style GPS receivers can drain a battery in no time. For the GPS navigation I will be using the Haicom HI-303III Receiver and iGuidance 2.1.2 mapping software.

Sounds like a good plan.

If it were me, I would take the windshield suction cup and arm off and mount the Arkon dm500 mount on a proclip vehicle mount.
Use the one I have that puts it into perfect view and the installation is clean and uncluttered.

It is link #1 pic from above

I just use a vehicle cigarette lighter adapter to power my treo while it is in the treo specific holder.

My bluetooth GPS/phone handsfree kit is hard wired into the truck.
