Hey You Guys - Body Lift
Hey You Guys - Body Lift
hello, i have done my research on body lifts, and now know what im talking about now, a little. My question is, with the 3" PA lift i know the onroad right wont be affected, but my question is, what about the off road ride? now that the cab is sitting up 3" higher will it sway more? also, when i go hunting, it gets really really really nasty, sometimes there isnt someone around to pull you out, so if you need to go through a big hole, you hit it kinda hard, sometimes i might bounce really really hard, maybe even get the front wheels off the ground etc...my question is, will this body lift be able to handle what i can throw at it? im going to put 35 toyo mts on her with the lift, and figured while im doing that i might as well get some new shocks so it will quite playin hop scoch with me. Basically, with some new shocks, 3" PA body lift, will this thing beable to survive what i can throw at it? Will it last on my truck for 50k miles and not screw anything else up on my truck, such as cranking the bars etc... that cause pre mature wear?
P.S. i have an 05 F150 KR Screw 4x4. thanks so much
Not if you install the body lift and shocks yourself. A lot of members at FTW do some very serious off roading with body lifts (more than you described) and I have never heard of any problems.
yes, they are hard to install, and yes i could spend the extra money and get a procomp, but i dont want her to sit six inches high, to high for me, i like the height the body lift gives with 35s, seems just pefect, enough to make the girls have to jump in, but not enough to make me pull them up
there is a guy on here with a blue 4door f1fiddy, i think he has a body lift, helo wheels and grapplers, im going for the same look, but with toyos. it might be dkm2 https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?gnum=5993
