Did you get the 6.0? or the 7.3? I dont even know if they are avaliable anymore but the hardcore diesel guys hate the new 6.0. Not that you will not like it.

My Brothers wife tows her horses with a 04 6.0 and loves it.

I had a 1997 f150 (1st year of new OLD body) then to a 98 PSD 4x4 350.

Now Im back

rutherk1.... It is the 6.0. I couldn't believe the top end it has fora diesel. Comparable if not more than my 5.4.
I also tried the Cummins.... wow what a silent engine! More on the bottom but less on top. And they wanted more money.

I hope the problems with the 6.0 are worked out by now.

As for the issues my 150 has...I'm passing them on back to the dealer.
I don't need to play the let's try and fix the nibble game.

Tuner is back to stock (my stock is out, that is.)
The 2 bins have Snakelights and FirstAid..... a few bandaids have been removed.
And I have a CD case that fits into the bin that came with the truck.... I don't know why, or how I got the CD case, but it says F150 on it.

Interested but I'm afraid I haven't decided to go with a fifth wheel or not. Won't it be better to keep the rail system in the truck? How are you going to plug up the four holes? Might be a selling point. I'll send you an email if I decide to take the plunge and purchase a fifth wheel.

There are so many rv dealers and so many options down here in Southern California I think there's a good chance I'll find a TT with decent headroom that will suit my needs. Well, that's how I'm leaning this week. We got a huge RV show in Pomona in October that I'm very interested in checking out. I'm also interested in checking out a Thor Wanderer 21 footer.
