How bad was your alignment out after autospring install?

Installed mt 2.5 autospring friday and had it aligned. The tech at the shop told me that my toe was the only thing out. Those of you that have installed an autospring, what was out of alignment with your trucks? Maybe its my mind playing tricks but it feels like my truck is all over the road.

The toe was only thing out. It still drove perfectly straight before the alignment.

My toe was also out of spec. It drove and tracked fine after the 2.5" AS kit. It still rides fine and doesn't wander all over the road.

Mine tracked fine also and had a slight shake around 40 mph. the alaignment was off alot. They gave me a computer print out showing me. The truck rides straight now.

Installing the autospring made my front end a little more stiff, which seemed to magnifiy a tire out-of-balance I didn't know I had. Got my tires road forced and all is good now. Pulling to one side is usually an alignment issue, but can also happen via tire pull. Seems like you would have noticed that before though...

Hope you find the problem.

It may not look out of alignment, but the guy commented saying "Wow, good thing you came in, that was WAY off"...I replied with "Well, I just a put a 2" leveling kit on it", he smiled and shook his head and said "no biggie then because it's perfect again". Theoretically the toe will be quite screwed up...it's not possible for it not to be.

I took my truck to sears first and they said because of the lift they cant/wont do the alignment. After that went to goodyear and there was no problem.

I also found it difficult to get someone to align it after the install (1.5 inch). Only after calling the 4th local shop and telling them what was going on did they agree. Must be something to do with installing my own parts and they would not touch it. Anyway...I cannot feel any difference in ride, steering, or alignment problems from before and after.

Just toe out somewhat on mine,Ride will be stiffer due to springs being preloaded a bit.Tech that did the alignment mentioned the ball joint angle may cause excessive wear on them.Sure is nice to be level !!!!

The tow was off. Mine rode like new after the alignment. The truck only rode a little worse after putting 13.5" wide tires on it. If you put bigger tires on the truck, that may be what is causing the tracking problems.

You guys didn't have to put a 'cam kit' on it? My alignment was off a good bit and the guy said it had to have a 'cam kit' put on so that he could adjust the camber. He said the right front end is at max camber and it is slightly out of perfect spec., so it tracks a little to the right if I'm on a crowned road.

Hmm, I don't know how you guys say it drove like normal. I had put it in, got it aligned, and had to take it out for a trip to the dealer and whenever I would turn hard my front tires would squeel like they were sliding out.
