Another Kamloopsian! We should get together with Wasachevyguy some time.
That post about housing was in 2005. It's not anywhere close to that anymore. A condo downtown just sold for $655,000 and another is listed at $775,000. To put it into perspective that $655,000 was a record here. Quite a difference from the $100,000 half duplex from the post in 2005.
After the Olympics I'll be out of school for a full year and should have some kind of down payment. I think it will work out nicely.
By the way, just to keep the thread on track, I'm on mod 4 now but school got in the way 2 years ago.
