YO, thanks for posting those, i was wondering what the difference would be. Because of the size of the tires, i dont like that (and by that i mean, for my own setup). UNLESS, I would be able to go a little lower, AND put some 20" - 22" wheels. Either way.. im staying with the leveling kit for now.. Again, thanks for posting!

NO problem.
I'm thinking the step bars are coming off next since I don't need 'em to get my *** up in the truck now and I like the looks better without 'em.

Hey Red Wing, did you have to take the truck to get re-aligned after you removed the spacer?

Yes. I got a buddy that works at Midas and he did all the work and alignment.

Gettin' even better looking without the bars... it's got a "tough yet sporty" look about it now. Kinda makes me miss my '97 reg cab shortbox...

Thanks for the pics redwing, I was thinking of doing this exact same thing on my FX4... Now, I'm sure about it. Do you have any rubbing with the 295s now?

I took the factory step bars off my truck, then quickly put em back on. The frame rail hangs down so low and I didnt like being able to see it. When I lower the truck, Ima ditch the steps then
