little pre-S/C mod (gtech)

got my Gtech in today. got so i can get a rough before and after once the roush goes on.

was able to get a few numbers tonight. Several 60' times of 2.5-2.6, an 1/8 mile of 10.8 and a 1/4 at 16.6 (crappy launch on a not very straight road...)

my wheels and 3.55 gears are killing me, but im going to see if i caant find a nice piece of road and get some better number's this weekend. the roush is being shipped tomorrow and will get it installed next weekend, and then ill get comparson numbers

gtech mounted:
might try and hard wire it later, or at least reroute the cord

16.6 isnt bad at all for the 3.55s along with those heavy rims. I only nocked out a 15 in my ATI SC and intercooled 2000. And it had a whole host of mods to go with it. I also had the 3.55. You should definately go to a 4.10 if you plan to take her to the strip.

BTW... You truck is amazing. It is by far the best "street" version of the 04+ 150s. It reminds me of what the lightning should look like... If only ford would make it.

Nice. I love mine.

I just ordered the AF1 and the Xcal2. Can't wait to see the gains from them.

yeah i love this thing. i only wish i had gotten the ss model instead of the rr. i thought from reading that the ss couldnt mount to the windshield, but i guess it can

i think i can i can get into the low 16's or 16 flat as is with a good launch. (stock now only removed muffler and tailpipe)

with the roush kit as it is i hope to break into the 14's. 4.10's are the next mod after i finish with some paint work. after that i plan to get a 8 lb pulley, intercooler, e-fans & exhaust which i hope will yield mid 13's

and a lightning equivalent is what i am going for... i wouldve eventually bought one if they made em, but since they didnt ill make my own
