Anyone Upgrade Mirrors?

I've got a 04 XL. Was thinking about upgrading the mirrors to the ones with the turn signals in them, like in the XLT, Lariat. Anyone done this?

I know it will work from a power mirror on an xlt to the power turn mirrors. I guess if you have the power mirrors, it should also work on an xl.

Try those, I'd DIE if I got those, they look pretty sweet I think
Saw some on a Dodge the other day (first ones I've ever seen), pretty hot looking
Yeah they are good, i installed mine last year, and they still look as good as new.
More pics are in my gallery if you are interested!

yeah they match upreally nice with the paint, and they are available in a few different colors!
As well if you have to tow anything big they slide out at least 6" more.
It is also a relatively easy install as well, the hardest part was removing the door panels.

Those may be nice mirrors but I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from Truckaddons! I've personally, like many others on this site been burned by them. Do yourself a favor and buy them elsewhere.

I agree with Krazy... I got the Schafenaker TTT mirrors about 6 months ago, and I absolutely love them. They are excellent for all-around driving, but especially for towing a travel trailer. The only thing that I don't like about them is that, even when retracted in, they stick out a little more than OEM. It causes concern when driving or parking in close quarters.

One thing I can attest to regarding the TTT mirrors is their durability... A few months ago, I was driving through an Olive Garden parking lot. A woman (figures ) was coming towards me in a brand-spankin' new Nissan Armada. Well, she passed me a little to close, and her driver's side mirror hit my driver's side mirror. Believe it or not, her mirror glass shattered to pieces. But mine were completely undisturbed, not even a scratch on the shell... Outstanding durability... That's what she gets for driving a Nissan

Funny you mention that, i was driving down a road under construction, and a bigger truck was coming towards me, and i had no choice but to move over a little to far and ended up hitting one of those portable construction barriers with my passenger mirror. I thought for sure it would have been scratched badly, but when i got home it was scratch free. They are definately built to last.
