lowering back of truck

Has anyone out there took the spacers out that are inbetween the axle and leaf springs to lower the back of there trucks? Does anyone see any side affects from doing this? i want to level mine but don't want to raise the front, just looking for advice.

thanks alot for that, i tried searching but i put spacers instead of blocks so I came up emty. I've already ordered my u bolts so as soon as they get here i will proably be emailing with more ?????????????????????????'s
