Exclamation Fitting an amp under the Supercrew bench?

Hey guys...I'm stuck @ work and my F-150 is at the dealer getting some stuff fixed and I can't check it myself.

I'm trying to fit a JL 450/4 amp (19.1 inches long, also the same exact size as the JL 1000/1) under my rear seat...on the passenger side. I'm using the JL Stealthbox which takes up the larger open area and leaves the area BETWEEN the brackets on the single rear passenger seat only.

Does anyone know if I can fit the amp in there between those brackets?

If not I will be forced to downgrade to some Alpine amps and I really don't want to do that.

**EDIT**
I guess the other option would be to put it behind the rear bench seat behind it...on the wall. Anyone done anything like that? My biggest fear would be ventillation issues...and I really have not a clue how hard it would be to get back in there too.

lol...I think I edited my post when you wrote this. If you mean the back wall...I do not know. Anyone here have custom setups I can look at? My main goal is to look 100% (or damn close) stock when done and just freak people out when I crank it up.

Put it behind the seat...there is plenty of room and ventaliation is not an issue (there is a good 3 or 4 inches between the amp and the seat back).

There are more pics of my system in my gallery.

Looks great RAMSS/T. Did that require custom cutting or did it just fit right in there? It is hard to tell from here.

I cut a sheet of plywood and put it against the cab and then mounted the amp to it...really only to avoid drilling so many holes in the cab. But that is optional and nothing else has to be modified. You will be shocked at just how much room is back there.

I take that back...I did have to (or at least did) trim the carpeted cover that is against the rear of the cab. Other than that nothing had to be cut.

Sorry..I just got your email, but the answer is that it came off ebay (I actually bought it from someone else but they bought it off ebay). Here is the link:
Screw Sub-Box

The box I have was not deep enough for the two CVR 10s I have so I had to grind some wood off the top inside of the box for them to fit. But other than that its a nice box.

Hey RamSS/T-

How hard was it to remove the back wall part of the rear seat? I think I am going to do that part of the install myself to cut back on cost because as soon as you say "custom" to an installer the price doubles. I plan on building that back wall mount myself and make it plug and play for them.

I'd do the entire stereo myself...but I have the worst damn luck in the world and I would rather make it their problem lol.

thanks man

RamSS/T, I really love your truck! I have the same one but not nearly as modified which I think you have done an amazing job of improving but not detracting from the truck. Mine is a Lariat, Black on Black with the center console and shifter....everyone freaks out when they get in it and says it has Jaguar styling ques...which I agree. That box is nice, for some reason I could not view their picture but $80 for an enclosure...man that is cheap! I am doing the behind the seat mount as well. Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

The back part of the rear seat is a b*tch to get out...the first time. After you do it once and figure out what your trying to do (its almost impossible to explain the clips to you until you actually see how they work for yourself) its no big deal. Do a search on here and I (and others) have posted directions before on how to actually remove the seat back and it will get you started. To make things easier for me now I actually cut my locking clips off....now I just take out the two 10mm bolts that hold the seat belt thing down and just pull the seat up.
