OEM Tow Hooks

Any one ever notice how the OEM tow hooks have twice the strength for pulling then pushing? I was thinking of mod'ing mine to have the same strength for both. I was a bit dissapointed at how easy it snaped off on a small impact.

Thanks, asinatra. Can you give us a cost breakdown from dealer, so I can compare costs?

Yeah a breakdown in price would be great...got my Lariat stuck in wet grass....I know it is sad but it was a slight incline. Need the tow hooks just in case....I think the breaking point for pushing is a safety thing...they have to break and bend with the bumper or they would be harpons in an accident.

Thanks, I hope some of it is correct, not as good as some others though, my truck is still pretty stock. I have to get on some of these mods....
