Ford Survey?

I searched, but I couldn't find anything.
I know there is a lot of hoopla about the ford surveys, but really what is the big deal about them?
What do they really do with them and what would be the effect of a bad survey?
And I hear people saying they won't return them for certain reasons or they'll keep them till their problems get fixed. If you don't return it do they send out the collection team or something?
I'm gonna rip them on mine. Especially if I don't get my window sticker, AND especially if they don't fix my problems.

Well the survey is VERY important to the dealership. Any bad remarks and it goes against them. Im not sure exactly how, where or how much, but I know they get different incentives, better warranty rates and certification if they get good ones. I think if they get to many bad ones, if thery are Blue Oval certified, they can loose that, which is a huge deal, and most likely someone will be in the dog house or a$$ed out on the street. So thats why some guys will "hold it over therir heads"

On the other hand, fill it out real bad and make some negative remarks and FOGET about ever getting any work done there again. You will be black balled from the service department.

Do as you wish, but blasting them over a window sticker?? not the smartest thing and who really cares about it? Want mine, you can have it.

Well thanks for the heads up about the service department. I'm not going to totally blast them about anything I guess. I would just like the window sticker they promised me (I like to hold on to those things). I really had a great experience at my dealership. My sales man was great. My only gripes are a few mechanical things about the truck, which will hopefully get fixed. I need to chew Ford out about them, but then again, so does everybody else.

Why did they even keep the window sticker?

They didn't keep it, the jerk off who detailed the car threw it out instead of placing it in the glove box where he was supposed to put it.

Most dealerships may use a third party detailer, you cant really blame the dealership if thats the case, but i am sure they can get it resolved.

He was a dealership employee. I brought a friend to the lot to look at it the day before I picked it up and we left when the guy came over to wash it. And the sticker was on there when I left.

Oh I see. My sales man jumped the lot boy for folding mine wrong when he removed it.

Yeah, I understand that he was probably some type of moron, but when I called the dealership to ask about he said they always put it in the glove box.
The part that really gets me though was that he said he was going to get me another one and mail it to me. That was over a month ago. Next time I'm home I'll have to go over there and see whats up. It's not even a big deal, it just aggervates me!

My dealer was basically kissing my *** about answering the questionnaire. All he wanted was for me to give him the highest marks possible. He brought it up at least 5 times when I was filling out my paperwork at delivery.
I believe the feedback will bite them in the *** when they get their star rating. If they want their 5 star rating they have to look real good on paper to Ford corp. if not I think they lose clout and possibly some pricing benefits. Hell I don’t know about all the ramifications but judging from the way my salesman was kissing my *** it's a big deal to them.

No, my comments were not intended to be a joke. I genuinely don't like it when a person wants other people to read their post, yet don't feel the way they're expressing themselves matters. There, I've said it. I suppose it's the teacher in me. (Notice how I used all three forms of there, they're and their. I assure you my usage is correct.)
