Trip to the dealer today

Well I dropped the truck off this morning to have my free oil change and tire rotation done. They also needed to redo the paint protection as they had to repaint the front bumper and tonneau cover b/c they're idiots. (That's how I got 5 free oil changes and tire rotations)

Well anyhow. I worked my **** off to paint the mud flaps the right way and then have them covered in the 3M clear bra. I asked the dealer to go ahead and install them for me now as they said they would earlier but told them I wanted to wait. Well they say now that they're charging me $60 to install the freaking mud flaps!!!! I'm at work so I didn't feel like arguing about it, but damn that should of just been a free service. Not a we'll fu(k you because we can thing.

$60 for installation? I had mine installed at the dealer (for no other reason than laziness) and it cost me $29.

From: ???.....depends on the day
$60 is what labor cost per hour....so I am not surprised....course....if they truely said that they would do it "free of cost".....then that is a verbally LEGAL AND BINDING agreement....therefore they MUST honor it.....course....legal fees and court costs would well out-weigh the $60....

Well they said they'd install it for free, but that was a three months ago, when I said I wanted to wait to have them painted. That was a long time and I don't feel like dragging that into it.

I am baffled though that they didn't give me a price ahead of time or even speak of price, AND that it took them an hour to do it.

$29 sounds more reasonable.

It's probably $60 b/c they arn't getting paid for the oil change or tire rotation. Got those free b/c of how the ********* my truck up earlier.
