Thumbs up

First time posting here guys...but i've been following the site for some time now. I just wanted to wait and post until i had something interesting to say. Well today is the day, i recieved my A.T.I. Procharger and installed it myself on my truck yesterday. By the way, i've got a 2004 screw lariat. Took it to get dynoed today and put down some pretty impressive numbers.

baseline before s/c--- 251 rwhp 297 rwtq
after s/c ---336 rwhp 424 rwtq

needless to say....i'm rather HAPPY

Be nice asinatra....after all: It's his truck, he's happy, and he is a fellow F150 enthusiast.
BTW, when you have a moment, please send those pictures you promised.

What RPM was that RWTQ number at. That is a great torque number no matter the vehicle.

Asinatra, I assume you are getting to the fact that even with the super charger its only 336 RWHP. For a truck that just isn't that bad. considering were he started with this allmighty Triton. These babies need another 100 hp from the factory.

Are you around Indianapolis????? I live there and would love to check your rig out. I would like the extra torgue and HP in my rig it needs it.

Welcome to the board and enjoy the site and "most" everyone.

EDIT: I'm such a tool I see you live in TN. That handy location dealy bob is neat.

Hey Indy Mike,

Are you tuned yet? Those numbers arent sounding too good. You should be at around 400RWHP. You only lost 49 HP from the factory. So, a 9psi Procharger only gave you 385 Flywheel hp? An 85HP gain is only a 28% overall FLYWHEEL gain in HP. ATI's are easily clearing 60-65% in gain.

I know, my buddy has one installed on his Supercrew Lariat and he is sitting at 394RWHP. Something isnt right.

Did it come with a tuner? Double check ALL of your connections, hoses...etc.

Just for reference, with bolt ons and NO BOOST my last dyno was 280RWHP and 340 ft lbs TQ on an NA 5.4L 3V. I have since installed quite a few more bolt ons. Fans, pullies, Ignition booster...etc.

You will love the ATI. I had one on my last truck and it was awesome! Im dure you will be able to get some more out of it once you get her tuned up. Probably running really rich. It usually does with the FMU. I dont know much about the 3v, but i have alot of experience with the procharger on the 5.4. And the Fuel system mod and tune make a world of diffrence! Best of luck and enjoy!!

SWEET!

Did you get new, higher flowing injectors?

Also, look into getting a custom tune for it to realease release those ponies.

Now get you some electric fans and a gas saving tornado (joke) and you get a few more ponies out of it.

i just got back on here again for the first time since posting my #'s. I did get a custom tune with the kit and i'm running right at 12 air fuel. it's not a 9 lb pulley...it is a 6 lber. Give me a couple of months to get the newness out of my heavy foot right now....and i'm sure that the pulleys will be changed so that i can release a few more ponies. I also plan on adding headers and high flow cats, but that will be in the future.
Right now i'm happy with what i've achieved
