Door Lock Confirmation Mod
I did a quickie mod this morning. Sometimes when I am walking away from my truck and hit the door lock remote, I don't hear the door lock solenoids click. This means I have to turn around and walk back to make sure I was not out of range, leaving the doors unlocked. I added a beeper to make some sound when the door lock solenoid is activated.

I often get across the parking lot before I double check to see if I locked it. all you have to do is look at the taillights. they will flash when you lock your doors. if you are out of range they wont flash. and if you dont like that method you can double click the lock button and the horn will honk to confirm you locked the truck. both are effective ways to check if you locked the truck.

MYST...probably a cool little mod you did, but I dont get it 
If you hit the button to lock the doors the lights flash, if you hit the button 2 times the horn will honk once if the doors lock and all is good. The horn will honk 2 times if one of the doors are not shut all the way.

Myst... nice work on the door lock thing. Im not really too interested in it because i have an afermarket alarm... But, still. Nice work.
I am about to install the hella foglights behind the grill and i am really impressed with the brackets you made for yours. Im hoping that I will be able to make some that are about half a nice as those. You should start producing those things and selling them. They are awesome!

When I'm walking away, I'm generally not looking at the truck (perhaps I should be given how beautiful these trucks are.) And yes, hitting the remote a second time causes the horn to honk. LOUDLY!!!!
This gives a nice, audible, but not annoying beep.
I'll probably put in an remote start/alarm before next summer (so I can fire up the A/C before I get to the truck) so eventually this mod will come back off the truck.
It's just a little minor improvement in the grand scheme of things F-150.
