Request for jellytheory

Saw you post that you put a Gibson exhaust on your truck. Would it be possible to get a sound clip of it? The clips on their website suck.
Is it really as quiet as they say it is?
Thanks.

This would be so much easier if private messaging was available.

Hi Turbo - Sorry about that. I didn't see your post until just now.

Anyway, just so you know, the gibson exhaust is EXTREMELY quiet. I would say it is barely audible if at all. I have seen a slight increase in mpg over the last few days on my daily trip to work (about 1/2 mile per gallon).

IMO, if you're looking for an exhaust with any noise what so ever, you'll want to get a different exhaust.

Hope that helps. What exhaust did you end up getting?

-Chris

Amen to that, I've made a few posts hinting towards this in the last few days.

Thanks jelly. At least it is info for others to see. I had the Gibson on my Silverado I traded in. It was pretty quiet also, but you could hear it. Seems that since we have 4 cat convertors on our trucks tey are the quietest out there.
I ended up getting the JBA Evol exhaust. Started a post on it yesterday. Will be getting it today and will install tonight and get sound clips tomorrrow.
