i got the helo's but after i got those i gave a call to my tire guy and was about to order some tires, 325 60 18, i was wanting to go with a mickeythompson, but he said they will wear out fast, i love the look of them but i want some miles out of my tires. so the next tire was the terra grappler. yeah, those are on back order for who knows how long. so now im stuck with the toyo MT, i havent ordered them yet, just the rims so far, you guys have any suggestions as to what would be a good tire in a 13 inch wide tire? i might just ride with those rims on the stock tires for a couple of months till i can get ahold of some terra grapplers anyway, what do you guys think

If you can get the Toyo M/Ts, I'd get them. I was going to get them but they were on backorder at the time so I just opted for the Nitto TGs.

I'd only worry about it if you don't listen to your radio.

The Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's are very quiet. I have the 325/50R20's.

Just the way the backspacing is, I guess.

Personally this is the judgement that is fool proof. If your using aftermarket wheels stick with 33s and if your using stock wheels use 35s. Considering your using a leveling kit for both scenarios.

well, any word on how the mickeythompsons hold the the ATZs, from what i uderstand, mickeys are soft rubber and will wear out really fast, is this true?

I really think you'll be VERY pleased with the 33 Toyo M/Ts. I can't speak for the Micky Ts because I've never owned any.

i guess so...im just a little bummed, o well, thump, did is there a nice ride increase from the stock height with the new rims and tires, or is there not the much a diffrence. that was the main reason i wanted the 35s, just beefier and they would give it a higher stance

what would i have to trim to fir the mickeythompsons 325 65 18 its like a 34" tire on those helo rims 18x9. there has to be something, where there is a will there is a way right? there has to be

wow, this must really show you guys i dont know what i want could i fit a toyo mt tire i think it comes out to like a 35x12.50x18 with some triming? Basically, i "want" either the 35x12.50 toyo mt or the mickeythompson in a 325 65 18 (34"). If this isnt at all possible with some trimming, then i will go with the mickeythompsons in a 33, but there has to be a way a narrower tire will fit or a slightly smaller tire?

I think you could run the 35" tires if your backspacing is just right. I have heard that the MB wheels are perfect... 8.5" wide with +30 MM offset. The problem with this is that most if not all 35" tires reccomend a wider rim than this. But it will work. But, If you already have the Helos you might be out of luck for the 35" tire. I personally think it is a better overall idea to go with 33" tires anyway unless you get it lifted. Consider that your effective gear ratio will go to around 3.40 with 35" if you have the 3.73 stock. For me that is too low because of towing and hauling. But might not be an issue for you. Let me know how you like the Toyo MT as i am probably going to order them next week.

I'll attach a picture to explain it better, it only took me about 5 minutes with a wiz-wheel. I never noticed it until I started to backup to my shop to unload the stock wheels and I heard it rubbing. Did you order the Helo Maxx 6s or the Eagles?

I hope that helps you out bud!
When I installed my new wheels and tires, they only rubbed when backing up with the wheels turned or taking a large bump with the wheels turned. I trimmed the exact same thing that you did and no more rub. I just used a pair of "nippers" like this to do the job:

Yup, like I said it only happened when I was backing up.
