Keeping Engine Clean

What can you do to keep your 04 Supercrew clean under the hood. My '02 F-150 is dirty as hell from mudding, dirt, etc. What sort of fender products, undercarriage parts, etc can keep the engine clean from mud and other problems nature likes to cram up there? I am afraid to spray it down with water because of electrical parts (alternator, etc?) and scrubbing is just too hard to get into the cracks, crevices, etc.

Also, off topic, what is a full throttle lift...just a brand? And what do they consist of exactly to justify their $*@(& price

Just wash it down..

if the engine is HOT, turn it ON

if the engine is COLD, turn it OFF.

As for the lift they are a lift company here in fresno cali, they did the lift you see in XXX 2. The control the market in price seeing they are the few that offer huge lifts to consumers.

the full throttle lift is that stupied over priced lift that barely clears 37's.

It's a rip-off, for total idiots who live in california and who's daddy's have more money than sense and buy junior whatever he sees in Truckin' magazine.

The FTS lift definatly doesn't BARELY clear 37s, it skies them! However I really don't like the look of the drop bracket, personally the best looking BIG lift out there is the Rize Industries. Its what I want but Im trying to find out exactly how much money it is for front and rear because I know its going to be costly but worth it.
