Researching exhaust with tow packages..

Trying to do more and more research on exhaust..

I want to do SIDO, with side exit (one behind each tire). I have the tow package - does anyone foresee any issues?

I haven't picked a brand yet..Haven't found a magnaflow part number that will accomplish this yet, but haven't had the chance to call them either..

you should have no problems with dual side exits w/towing package. i didn't. dual straight out the rear could be another issue though.

Do you mean corner exit or right behind each of the rear tires, basically stock location on both sides? If so you can't, Im pretty sure the gas tank is in the way for that one.

Originally I had gotten the super 40 kit. The 40 was a little too much for me; with my cap, there was a huge airspace back there that at a certain RPM range resonated the heck out of the cargo area.

After talking to Flowmaster about the resonance, they agreed it was from my cap. I replaced it with a 3" in x dual 2.5" out 50 series SUV muffler; keeping the rest of the pipes. Had to cut a few inches off the inlet pipe to fit the larger muffler, but have been nothing but happy ever since.

And the sound? Did you notice the infamous "loss of performance" that everyone claims with flowmasters?
