Glovebox Light

Finially got around to putting a glovebox light in my 2005, Only had it for 2-1/2 months. See the picture below and there are two more in my gallery.

Where did you get the light from? I wouldn't mind installing one of those in my truck as well. Nice job!

I'd like to do this one as well. That looks like a light from some other vehicle. Is it a direct bolt on and everything just works? Like the switch and everything or did you do some fancy fab work to get it in there.

RMS05's picture gallery indicates the following about the light:

Light is from a 2000's Explorer. Ford part number F57B-15A563-A

Great idea! I think I might do the same.

I'll put a sketch of the bracket in my gallery after I get it drawn. The bracket is 16 gage steel, 4" long x 1-1/2" wide. The hole locations will be shown on the sketch.
I see these lights on most upscale Ford trucks/SUV's in the junkyard.

A copy of the bracket sketch is now in my gallery.
Already have lights under the hood and in the console - see my gallery.
Now onto installing lights under the dash to light-up the foot area.
